This is for all of you younger ladies (which is to say…all of you) that follow my Tumblr:   How do you feel about when an older guy calls you “ma’am”  at work or whatnot?  I ask this because I do this often, usually without even thinking about it, when I’m at the store or whatever, and I don’t mean to offend or disrespect anybody when I do it.  However, I read something on the internet (I know..It’s on the internet so it’s gotta be true, right?) that younger women didn’t like this because it is supposed to be a courtesy reserved for older women.

So, ladies… spit it out.   Should I call you “ma’am”  when you’re helping me find the caulk aisle at the Home Depot?
